😮 Did you know that more than half of the world’s population is now at risk of dengue? Dengue is one of the fastest-growing infectious diseases globally, with an estimated 390 million infections every year.

💪 The good news? Dengue is preventable.

✅ Empty and clean containers that collect water

  • 🦠 Ebola: Early care saves lives

👩🏽‍⚕️ As the Democratic Republic of the Congo 🇨🇩 responds to an Ebola outbreak caused by the Bundibugyo virus, WHO has released its *first-ever guidelines covering all Ebola and Marburg viruses* to help health workers provide the best possible care.

⚠️ Ebola is a serious disease, but there is hope. Early supportive care, such as treating dehydration, managing symptoms and providing close medical monitoring, can significantly improve survival.

    Did you know?

🩺 There have been 72 Ebola and Marburg outbreaks in Africa since 1967.

💧 Early treatment with fluids and supportive care can make a life-saving difference.

🤝 People who recover also need follow-up care to support their long-term health.

    *How can you help?*

✅ Follow advice from health authorities
✅ Seek care early if symptoms appear
    ✅ Share facts, not rumours
✅ Support affected communities with compassion
