🛡️🇨🇩 #RiposteEbola : Les jeunes en première ligne pour renforcer l'adhésion communautaire à #Beni. À travers l'#INSP, le SGI-MVE renforce l'engagement communautaire dans la riposte contre la maladie à virus Ebola au #Nord-Kivu. Près de 90 jeunes issus de plusieurs associations et groupes de pression ont bénéficié d'un briefing sur la MVE, les mesures de prévention et contrôle des infections (PCI) ainsi que les fondamentaux de la Communication sur les Risques et Engagement Communautaire (CREC). Un chronogramme de restitution et de poursuite des activités a été élaboré afin de renforcer la sensibilisation au sein de leurs communautés et de favoriser une riposte portée par les populations. www.insp.cd

🧪🩺 A major breakthrough in the fight against Ebola is happening right now. 🌍 For the first time, people affected by the current Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are being enrolled in a new international clinical trial testing potential life-saving treatments. Since the outbreak began: ⚠️ More than 1,400 people have been diagnosed. ❤️ Nearly 210 people have recovered. 🕊️ Nearly 440 people have died. 🚨🇨🇩Riposte Ebola en Ituri : l’#INSP renforce la première ligne de défense sanitaire à #Bunia. Dans le cadre de la réponse à la 17ᵉ épidémie de #Ebola, l’#INSP, à travers le #COUSP et le SGI-MVE, a clôturé à Bunia une formation stratégique de 129 prestataires de santé issus de 22 structures sanitaires des Zones de Santé de Bunia et Rwampara. Avec l’appui d’International Medical Corps, les participants ont renforcé leurs compétences en prévention et contrôle des infections, surveillance épidémiologique, prise en charge des cas, laboratoire et communication des risques.
